Great review for O’hare Honda

I read a lot of Chicago Honda dealer reviews. Most of them are composed by people who had bad experiences and want to get something off their chests, or have somehow been “incentivized” to write a glowing review. This review from a person who went to a dealership hoping to find information on a used Honda Element, and hoping to hone his negotiating skills, gives me hope that dealers are becoming more consumer friendly. Read this review. It is almost a step-by step explanation of how to size up a used car.

Chicago Honda City review

Honda City has quite a number of reviews throughout the web. Over 28 of them on google alone. See Honda City Reviews on Google. The latest one I see (Aug 17, 2010) talks about horrible service, (for the service department). Only one star. The next four reviews all gave four stars. If you look closely , two were written by the same person and the other, written on the same day, had the same message title, even though supposedly written by different people. Weird and highly suspect.

All the other reviews I see, from google and other review sites, give pretty low scores. Yelp, has only one review of Honda City for this year. It is a good one. The reviews from last year on their site all give low marks.

The final review is from Dealerrater.com. The Honda City dealerrater reviews have only one review from this year (8/12/2010) and the reviewer was very happy. Maybe things are changing at Honda City in Chicago.

Honda Recalls 2007- 2008 Odyssey minivans

Today Honda announced a recall of 2007 and 2008 Odyssey minivans and Element utility vehicles due to a faulty stability assist modulator which allows air to get into the braking system and can cause a gradual decrease in the vehicles braking abilities.
